Based on our belief in authentic values and mathematic principles, Abraham Trading Company brings an uncommon sensibility to the world of investments.

Abraham Trading is a statistical, research-driven Commodity Trading Advisor managed by Salem Abraham.

Salem founded the firm over 27 years ago on the belief that successful trading is unrepeatable without the expert application of mathematics. And in a world where ego and image too often blur facts and get in the way of simple truths, Salem has stayed true to this belief, with great results.

The Abraham Trading Company team takes great pride in our ability to provide a unique strategy informed by a unique perspective. We believe Commodity Trading Advisors need to think differently. Success is not achieved by trading the same markets in the same way as everyone else.

At Abraham Trading Company, we manage a multi-model strategy heavily exposed to commodity markets.  Our experience, risk management, and discipline allow us to take meaningful positions in less liquid products.

Over the past 27 years we have delivered an annual rate of return of 16.4% with zero correlation to traditional bond or equity markets.

The Abraham Trading Company team places a great deal of importance on our ability to understand and meaningfully connect with people.  Our passion and work ethic never falter. It is why we are so good at what we do.

Led by Salem, Abraham Trading Company mathematically models human behaviour.

We model our strategies on the belief that humans will remain irrational and continue to make investment decisions on the most emotionally comfortable path, not the most financially optimal. With a better understanding of how people are wired – their fears, their aspirations, their motivations – we’re better able to predict their inherent irrationality.
