Our approach to diversification and risk management came from our alternative investing experience, but we believe the same principles can be applied to other asset classes as well. We believe stocks and bonds can bring value to a portfolio if they are well-balanced, especially when there are diversifying investments combined with them. We encourage investors to look at the Fortress track record and portfolio to better understand how the results of our approach can be different even though we use some investments they may already have.

Some investors prioritize diversification and lower volatility in their portfolios, which is why The Fortress Fund incorporates diversifying investments to try to provide a more diversified portfolio than typical stock and bond funds. The Fortress Fund is our best effort to provide a balanced, diversified portfolio that aims to achieve steadier returns with lower volatility than traditional stock/bond portfolios.

We believe the Abraham Trading’s team deep experience in alternative investments gives us special expertise in creative diversification and risk management. Our lengthy investing experience informs the unique way we think about portfolio construction and the tools we use to make active management decisions in the fund.
